RbA Washington (Seattle/Spokane) brings sunshine and smiles to Camp Sparkle
There are few things more meaningful than making a child’s day, especially when that child is battling a life-threatening disease such as cancer.
RbA of Washington, a Renewal by Andersen retailer in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle and Spokane), partnered last year with Cancer Pathways and its Camp Sparkle, a day camp for children fighting cancer. Employees volunteered at the camp, serving the campers lunch, putting together care packages and delivering them to the youth, and spent time to learn the children’s individual stories.
The short video below gives you a closer look at the partnership that benefited dozens of children and touched the hearts of the RbA Washington employees, as well.
Washington was one of five finalists for Renewal by Andersen’s 2018 Corporate Community Leadership Award. This annual award recognizes a retailer’s example of living Renewal’s mission to “make a difference in the lives of our homeowners, our colleagues, our families and our communities.”
