RbA Affiliates From Around the Country Volunteer at Annual Retailer Summit

Representatives from across the Renewal by Andersen North American retailer network partnered with Cheeriodicals to assemble and deliver 280 “big green boxes of cheer” to patients at Phoenix Children’s Hospital on January 28, 2018.

Approximately 100 Renewal by Andersen employees, who were in town for the company’s annual retailer summit meeting, volunteered their time to assemble the Cheeriodicals gift boxes and wagons, which were filled with magazines and activity books, room decorations, puzzles, stickers and games for the children to enjoy.

“Giving back to the community has always been so important to everyone here at Renewal by Andersen of Phoenix, but having teams from all over the country join us here to help bring a little cheer to the patients and families at Phoenix Children’s Hospital is really exciting,” says Joe Koken, General Manager of Renewal by Andersen of Phoenix. “We’re just grateful to have this opportunity to make a small impact.”

Says Gary Parisher, President of Cheeriodicals, “We were thrilled to lead the Renewal by Andersen team to assemble Cheeriodicals for a second year, this year benefitting Phoenix Children’s Hospital.  It has been a privilege to witness this team’s giving spirit up close and personal and to see the impact they have made in Phoenix with so many hospitalized children and their families.”

After a special delivery to the hospital, free of charge, by Two Men and a Truck of Scottsdale, Renewal by Andersen and Cheeriodicals representatives began handing out the boxes to patient families at the hospital.

“We are excited to have Cheeriodicals and Renewal by Andersen supporting our patients and families,” said Jenni Rogers, Manager of Child Life Services at Phoenix Children’s. “The amount of joy these boxes bring to our patients and their families is invaluable and is a wonderful distraction in their day. We are thankful to have such a wonderful partnership with these organizations that go the extra mile to put a smile on our patients’ faces.”

Pitching in during the Cheeriodicals event was Renewal by Andersen president, Paul Delahunt. “This is the second year we’ve teamed up with Cheeriodicals, and I think I can speak for everyone on the Renewal team by saying it has become one of the highlights of our annual summit meeting. Having the opportunity to bring smiles to the patients at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and to be able to make a difference as one big team, is a great way to kick off the new year.”

What People Are Saying: February Featured Testimonials

❝We really like the features available, and we chose options that not only complement the exterior of our home, they have added value and beauty and fit perfectly where the old windows were. My favorite features of our windows keep insects out; give us the ability to quickly, and safely, get out of the house in the event of an emergency; and are really easy to clean, too (important with our grandchildren’s tiny handprints adorning our larger windows)! The energy savings and the protection of our furnishings from harmful UV rays make our investment in our home a no-brainer! We love our windows, and are looking forward to having every last window replaced by a Renewal by Andersen window!❞

Our sales rep was very informative and helpful, as was the windows and doors visualizer program on the website. Both the stucco team and the paint team did a really great job at making our house look good as new, so much so that my neighbors took pictures of the corners. The chief of operations came to inspect all work completed and answered questions and all the workers were great. I LOVE IT! I love ALL the new windows, the new door, and all of the screens! Everything is so easy to clean! And I love [the warranty]. The sun is brutal to building materials [here], and I love that Fibrex is tested and built to last in extreme temperatures. I had a great experience, and I enjoyed the workers and found them to be very professionally skilled and competent.
