RbA Teams Support October Breast Cancer Awareness
In honor of breast cancer awareness month, we're proud to share the dedication of several Renewal by Andersen locations across the country who are doing their part to raise money and awareness for the cause. Together, these 6 teams have raised nearly $89,000 for breast cancer research so far.
Teams from Long Island and New Jersey/New York raised money for, and ran and walked in the NYC Race for the Cure in Central Park. San Francisco, Orange County, and LA all Walked for a Cure at their local races, as well. Atlanta held a golf benefit, “Driving for a Cure” this past weekend. Additional events are planned throughout the year.
Says David Moore, Renewal by Andersen owner of the participating locations, “In North America alone there will be over 300,000 new cases of breast cancer this year and over 50,000 breast cancer deaths. This is one of the most critical women’s health issue.
Our [team] commitment to this effort will send a powerful collective message that we value helping others in our communities by making an impact on women’s health care, and the families that this widespread disease effects each year.”
