  • Richmond Window Corp. partners with Rebuilding Together Richmond to replace damaged and unsafe windows in homes for local homeowners of need.
    Richmond Window employees participated on April 27, 2019 with the over 1,000 volunteers in the greater Richmond Area to revitalize homes for homeowners of need. Our National Rebuild Day projects for Ms. Miller’s house included replacing all the windows, repairing her porch to code compliance, repairing handrails, decluttering items and fire hazards from the basement and rear sheds, installing insulation underneath the house, clearing and cleaning the backyard of invasive plants, and cosmetic touch-ups at the request of Ms. Miller and her family. Rebuilding Together Richmond serves nearly 80 homeowners each year, and, impacts hundreds more through community space projects.
  • Richmond Window collects 989 pounds of food for Feed More.
    Richmond Window Corp. supported Feed More the weekend before last at the Kroger in Willow Lawn to collect food donations for local families in need. With our van in the Kroger parking lot, our marketers were able to collect 989 POUNDS of food in a single weekend. As an added bonus for community members, everyone who gave a donation was entered in to our drawing to win a $50 Kroger gift card! These donations will help Feed More feed about 396 families in our community. Thank you everyone for your support. United, we will close the window on hunger! 
  • Richmond Window Corp. and Rebuilding Together Richmond collaborate to restore homes in the community.
    On October 12th, Fall Fix-up Day, 25 Richmond Window employees joined our community partner, Rebuilding Together Richmond, to revitalize a home for a Central Virginia homeowner in need. Our Fall Fix-Up Day project for Ms. Adams’ house included replacing all of the windows and repairing previously rotted frames and sills. We also took care of, leveling, sanding, and repainting the inside of the house, and laying down a new vapor barrier under the house to prepare the property for winter after mold, rot and seal failure issues plagued the house over the past year. Renewal by Andersen Certified Master Installers, Stevie Davis and Rickie Davis, skillfully headed the window replacement projects with their team including Chris Laudicina, Rodney Heath, and Senior Design Consultant and former Master Installer, Chris Taylor for Ms. Adams’ property.
  • Richmond Window Corp. and Ricky Johnson & Friends Foundation commend over 1,300 COVID-19 frontline workers with treats of appreciation.
    Richmond Window Corp. | Renewal by Andersen of Central VA worked with the Ricky Johnson & Friends Foundation to deliver over 1,300 packages of joy to various local COVID-19 frontline teams. The goal of these treat bags is not only show appreciation, but also to help these local heroes remember to hold on to the small moments that make us feel normal. This partnership began when Richmond Window Corp. volunteered to assist the Ricky Johnson & Friends Foundation with their supply deliveries after the catalytic converters were stolen from their vans. This partnership occurred on a weekly bases from April 1 to May 27, 2020.   • Feed More teams up with Richmond Window Corp. to donate over 1,000 lbs of non-perishable food..
    In coordination with Feed More, Richmond Window Corp. established their Showroom as an official food drop-off point for a February 2019 food drive. Along with our establishment as a drop-off location, Richmond Window also had a huge internal canned food drive where all of Richmond Window’s internal teams – Master Installers, Design Consultants, HR, Operations, Canvassing and Event professionals – competed with each other to donate as much food as possible. At Richmond Window, we always strive to ambitiously achieve and deliver above and beyond in all that we do, and our canned food drive was no exception. A fiercely competitive donation challenge ensued, with employees sending pictures to each other of their shopping carts and encouraging each other to champion gracious giving. These efforts led to the most successful food drive in Richmond Window history, with over 1,000 pounds of food donated by our employees alone!
  • Caritas teams up with Richmond Window for RVA Shelter Table Build
    With a continued focus on giving back to the community that has supported our local business since 1954, Richmond Window Corp. partnered with the Richmond-based nonprofit, Congregations Around Richmond To Assure Shelter (CARITAS). In collaboration with CARITAS, more than 50 Richmond Window Corp. employees split into 12 groups to build kitchen tables for Richmond local families in need. Teams from all over Richmond Window - from our Signature Service, Master Installer, and Design Consultant teams to our Events, Canvassing and Accounting departments, teamed up with CARITAS to build kitchen tables and other furniture for people in the Central Virginia community.
  • Richmond Window Corp. helps provide 30 backpacks in 30 days for at-risk youth.
    Richmond Window Corp. partnered with Neighborhood Housing Services of Richmond Inc. for a back-to-school drive for at risk youth called 30 Backpacks in 30 Days. The company was elated to be a small part of the big impact Neighborhood Housing Services of Richmond Inc. Always wonderful to see the team come together and rally around giving back to the community.
  • Richmond Window Corp. creates birthday cards for disadvantaged children.
    Richmond Window Corp. employees enjoyed working together on July 16, 2019 to create a memorable birthday celebration by making handmade birthday cards. A little creativity and personal touch can really showcase love and joy and help local nonprofit, Celebrate RVA, impact the hearts of disadvantaged children.
  • Richmond Window Corporation will build bikes for better futures for Richmond area foster children.
    Employees of Richmond Window Corporation, Central VA’s exclusive source for Renewal by Andersen window and door replacement, partnered with Together We Rise to build bicycles for local foster children on February 11, 2020. Over 60 Richmond Window Corporation employees volunteered their time to assemble bicycles for local foster children in need. This event is one of many volunteer events Richmond Window Corporation will be participating in this year to help empower Richmond area communities.
